Macon, Ga.—The Georgia Board of Pharmacy held its meeting on Wednesday, December 16, 2009.

Al McConnell of Milton was sworn in as a new member of the Board.

The Board elected Mickey Tatum of Pine Mountain as President and Steve Wilson of Smyrna as Vice President for 2010.

The Board named Richard Allen as the new Director of the Georgia Drugs and Narcotics Agency, effective March 2010.

The Board voted to accept a consent order from Pittard Clinic of Toccoa.

The Georgia Board of Pharmacy will hold its next meeting Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Mercer University Southern School of Pharmacy in Atlanta.
