Notice of Publication of Final Rule for the Disposal of Controlled Substances under the Disposal Act

On August 25, 2014, the Administrator of the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) authorized publication of the final rule for the Disposal of Controlled Substances. The final rule is on public display, as of 8:45 AM EST on Monday, September 8, 2014. The final rule may be viewed at https://www.federalregister.gov/public-inspection. The final rule will be officially published in the Federal Register on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 and will be available on the DEA website.
