The Georgia Board of Pharmacy shall hold a public hearing on the ten (10) proposed amendments and one (1) proposed repeal provided below at its meeting on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 9:00 a.m.

August 4, 2021: UPDATE - Change of Venue

In light of recent events, including the return of mask mandates in some Georgia cities and counties, and upon speaking with President Brinson, the decision has been made to change the August 18, 2021 Board of Pharmacy public hearing and meeting from in-person to virtual. This was done to protect all involved including Board members, staff, and public attendees, as well as UGA staff and students, from unnecessary risk.

Members of the Public who wish to attend the public hearing and meeting via conference call should check the agenda that will be posted to the Board's Event page for the dial-in information.

Public Hearing Commenting:

Members of the public are strongly encouraged to submit written comments to Executive Director Lacefield at [email protected].

If you wish to speak during the hearing, rather than submit written comments, please submit your name and what rules you wish to be heard on to Executive Director Lacefield at [email protected]. Being a virtual public hearing, it will be more efficient if President Brinson is able to call on specific members of the public to speak rather than everyone trying to speak at once.
