CDC Issues Health Advisory re: Ivermectin

On August 26, 2021, the CDC issued a Health Advisory regarding ivermectin reminding everyone that ivermectin is not authorized or approved by the FDA for prevention or treatment of COVID-19. The notice also states that adverse effects associated with ivermectin misuse and overdose are increasing and provides recommendations for practitioners and the public.
